The Studio
Through mapping, photography, and research, Studio Jayne work to bring hidden healthcare infrastructures into view and opens space for new narratives about reproductive rights to emerge.
The studio began as a collaborative effort with Michelle Kwon and Robin Newman, classmates in the MFA in Design for Social Innovation at the School of Visual Arts. Together, we pogether produced Likely Story, a digital game designed to teach early teens how traffickers manipulate trust and romantic interest as a pathway to exploitation. The project has received more than $500,000 in funding from the Canadian government and a range of corporate and community foundations, and was recognized as a 2021 Webby Award Honoree.
